After living in downtown San Francisco's concrete jungle for so many years, I am thrilled with what Rebar is doing. They are taking metered parking spaces and turning them into little parks. I would happily pay my $2/hour "rent" to park my ass and enjoy a pretty San Francisco day downtown.
If there's one thing that both impresses and depresses me is Josée & Pierre at Commissaires in Montreal. Every time I receive something from them it's of the most sublime design, I think I might call them and try to get a job with them, see if some of their magic would rub off.
Dear Robert, many thanks for letting us know about this, I'm reminded of A Z and Two Noughts, but in reverse.
This low-budget video was made by Robert Seidel exclusively within just 2 _ weeks for the planned DVD of Zero 7’s “The Garden”. The director was invited to produce a clip for the track “Futures”, because of his award winning experimental movie _grau.
The video visualizes crushed objects representing a diffuse future of wishes and desires which shape over time. Visible artefacts and the rough synchronisation add subtle emotions to the uncertain process… Side note: Another video for the song was commissioned and got directed by Duckeye, as this one was too uncommercial…
