Zoozoom

Zoozoom_1Interesting to see this small french haberdasher take some spend online, I think they're a little late, but so are the rest of them, maybe there's going to be a few less thousand dollar lunches in Vogue world over the next few years. Well done to Zoozoom.

Monkey Portraits by Jill Greenberg

Zzmonkeysfw
I think we all need to take a minute and admire Jill Greenberg's Monkey Portraits, featured in Zoozoom.  The expressions she captures on these primates beat the hell out of the majority of models I see in high fashion spreads.  Hopefully this could catch on, because I am sick and tired of seeing waify models look like they just came off a heroin binge.

My Space

Myspace6Her long arms clad in rubber tempted me into my next FredriksonStallard purchase.

Walking On Walls

 Rugemail_11
FredricksonStallard's Rorschach-shaped Felt #2 is a rug.  Innately psychological in its shape, the black wool piece changes function and meaning in this photograph, as it hangs on the wall.  The function becomes purely visual.  To an uninformed visitor in this space and context, its original purpose may be completely imperceptible as well as unimportant.  In the photograph, each object has an unused function (apart from the painting which hangs on the wall).

Objectively speaking and in short, this is a shot from The Apartment, a gallery in New York where CITIZEN:Citizen showed during the May 2006 Design Week.

Zoozoom "Decadence" video

David Mcintyre from Zoozoom called us the other day for a voice over, and made a movie treat for us, to him and his team a huge thanks.

Zoozoom the original online glossy. Chris Coppola did a wonderful thing with his lens, and zoozooms treatment tels a story that few in contemporary journalism are brave enough to do

This is no longer just about style, it's about meaning.
we love you Zoozoom.

Bulletproof Rose

Zoozoom_bullets_1

For those flat-chested women out there, just stick two of these in your bra.  It might hurt at first, but you just might start a following.

Chris Coppola shot this for a story in Zoozoom called Decadence.  Featured here is our Bulletproof Rose by Tobias Wong.
